Designed By Youth, www.designedbyyouth.org, is a youth-driven design and social marketing social entrepreneurship that excites and teaches technology to youth through projects focused on community responsibility and activism.
Bike with Mike is the creation of the Designed By Youth students of Pollicita Middle School in Daly City. Students got excited about Mike's goal to bike all the streets in Daly City and decided to develop the Bike With Mike campaign to promote its mission to be healthier and bicycle more. With the support of volunteers guiding students through this practical project-based learning project, student designed the logo, create the website, promoted the campaign on social media, coordinated and staffed two local community events, with more to come.
All proceeds donated to campaigns created by Designed By Youth go directly towards funding future projects and procuring new technology for the students. Designed By Youth is a 501(c)(3) organization.
